meet old line photo co.
Hi.
I’m Kaitlynn, old soul, lover of love, and a born and raised Marylander with the kind of wit that gets me in trouble every so often.
In 2019 I opened The Old Line Collective, and spent the next 7 years gaining tons of valuable experience as a wedding photographer. During that time I found my passion in every day, in-between moments and photos that focus on what’s real, raw, and uncurated. I took a step back and decided on a fresh start that would set my sights on authenticity. I opened Old Line Photo Co. to guide me in a different direction, while still honoring the journey that brought me here.

No, really. When I’m not taking photos, I’m a 911 dispatcher for a police department in Northern VA. Working in public safety has been my dream career since I was in grade school, and I’m stoked to see where it takes me. My second passion is taking photos, and documenting the parts of life we celebrate is really important to me. They say life is about balance, right?

His name is River, he’s 2 years old, and he’s the inspiration behind my package names. River is training to become a volunteer therapy dog. He’s been in parades, often visits my job after a particularly rough week, and he spins around in a circle if you start singing “Total Eclipse of the Heart” by Bonnie Tyler.

I have an advanced belt in Krav Maga, love weightlifting, and try to participate in rec sports as often as my schedule allows. I also love watercolor, reading, baking, cake decorating, and writing. Music is a huge part of my life. I play the flute, sing, and I love going to concerts. My first concert was Tyler Childers. My partner, Mike, and I spend a lot of time trying new restaurants, finding new places to visit, going to festivals, and finding something adventurous to do. Traveling is my favorite of all, and the farthest I’ve traveled is Iceland.
